But Not Goodbye Forever!

I have some exciting news to share — at the beginning of June, I’ll be moving from Flagstaff back to the valley! I’ve accepted an Assistant Manager position with JCPenney Portraits, a studio I’ve had the pleasure of working with in the past and am thrilled to be returning to!!

This new role is a wonderful opportunity for growth, and while I’m excited for what’s ahead, Flagstaff will always have a special place in my heart. I definitely have to say, I’ll still be coming up north for portrait sessions! Whether it's family photos, grad portraits, or events, I love this city and getting to be part of telling your story!

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of photographing some of your most cherished moments — from snowy grad sessions to golden-hour family portraits on the trails. I’ve met so many incredible people here, and it’s been such a joy to watch families grow and graduates step into their next chapters. I’ll never forget the spontaneous shoots in the snow, the dogs who stole the show, or the laughter echoing through a windy forest session!

Flagstaff brought me so much: professors and knowledge at NAU, independence and my pup Lockett, jobs and experiences, and of course an amazing church family and my fiancé!! I remember when I first toured NAU and knowing I was meant to be in Flag, and when I moved here full time after graduating thinking I'd never go back to 120° summers - and yet! God had better plans, and I've loved following His every step! I know this journey is going to be amazing but it's also bittersweet. Every drive to a shoot where the windows were down and the weather was amazing; all I could think was "I love my little mountain town" and now I have to say goodbye.

I could go on and on about the specifics of my time here but I'm going to stop being sappy and emotional now (as if I ever could haha) and also say if you've read this far and would like photos up north, let's do it - Flagstaff will always have part of my heart and no matter where I go, I'll always come back!

Thank you all for your continued support — I can’t wait to keep creating beautiful stories with you, no matter the location!
