Let's Recap!
Every year teaches me so much and pushes me so much, both personally and professionally. I've loved every session I've had the honor of photographing, from repeat clients to new additions and I could say so much about each one. Instead though, I want to highlight all the good in my business as a whole!
2025 brought me out of Flagstaff and back to Glendale for an assistant manager position at JCPenney Portraits and what a time that has been! I've loved being back in the place where I started portrait photography and getting to help lead such an amazing team has been such a blessing. While it may have felt like my own photography was on pause, I promise I'm still here - I just may be a little quieter on social media.
With the new year here, I wanted to let y'all be the first to hear me goals for this year and beyond! I of course got married this past September and will be on my honeymoon sometime in the next few months. With that being said, I'm excited to get back into travel photography (which is what started this blog if you've been around since the early days!) and can't wait to share those photos with you all! My hope and goal is to put a bit more focus on you all now that life has settled a little, the plan is to be up north as often as possible so that I can keep seeing those of you up there! I'll let you in on a stretch goal for me too cause we're besties now if you're still reading! While I love working at JCPP and do not plan on leaving anytime soon, my career goal has always been to fully operate freelance and open my own studio. So in 2026, that's going to become more of a reality! While it may not be the full path I walk down by the end of this year, you'll definitely be seeing a lot more from me and God willing, I'll also have my own studio space or a plan for it!
That's all for now, but make sure to follow along with the blog and on my socials as it's bound to be an adventure this year that's for sure!!
